Previously we talked about How Does My Website Get Found? Basically, the search engines, such as Google, must know that your site exists so it can be indexed. Here are the basics of what you need to do to submit your site to Google.
- First you must have a Google Account (click here to create a Google Account)
- Use Google Tools (click here to access) to submit the URL (address) of your website. For example, if your web domain is rapidpage.ca then your URL might be http://rapidpage.ca
There are also a number of other ways to improve the ranking of your website in Google’s search results (see our previous blog on Search Engine Optimization).

- Submit your content
Getting help from the experts
Whilst there is nothing to stop you from doing all of this yourself, companies (like the experts at Rapidpage.ca) have many years experience in doing this and can help you get the desired results without you having to personally wade through all of this technical mumbo jumbo.
